You might remember the national outrage that occurred after footage of a male Fremantle fan hitting a woman in the face at the Hawthorn v Dockers game surfaced from Perth.

Considering the whole country went into an uproar when the footage went viral, we just wanted to update ya’ll and let you know the man featured in the video, Cody Luke Yarran, went to court today.
He pleaded guilty to the assault charges for striking the woman in the video across the face, and also pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing public officers, disorderly behaviour in public and breaching bail.
Yarran will be sentenced at the Perth Magistrates Court at the end of the month.
