Video Shows Dockers Fan Hitting Woman As Crowd Violence Mars Hawthorn Win

The Fremantle Dockers clashed with Hawthorn overnight in an AFL preliminary finals match at Domain Stadium in Perth, but the game was marred by a number of incidents of crowd violence.
Late last night, a video from the stands was shared on Facebook, showing an unidentified Dockers fan wearing a Michael Walters jersey striking a woman with his right hand.
The man, who appears agitated, is immediately restrained by fellow spectators, as the scene around him devolves into panic:

This was one of only several incidents that marred the game. In another, Hawthorn midfielder Isaac Smith had a brush with a fan as he ran to retrieve a ball near the boundary fence.
In a video of the incident, a Fremantle supporter is seen leaning across the fence as if to slap Smith, before recoiling and shouting abuse at him.
Another Dockers fan was ejected from Domains stadium after he was seen pushing Hawthorn forward Luke Breust, who had been tackled into the fence; subsequent to the tackle, the unnamed fan was seen shoving him with what appeared to be an inflatable anchor.
Domain Stadium general manager Gavin Taylor said that the above matter has been referred to police, but no comment has yet been made about the video showing the unidentified Dockers fan hitting the female crowd member.
Hawthorn triumphed over Fremantle 94-67, securing their spot in the 2015 AFL Grand Final.
