You still think the cronut is the most ravishing dessert combo you’ve experienced? Are your friends sick of hearing you talk about that mental ten-storey donut milkshake you had once? You think you’ve seen it all in the world of food mashups? BAH. We’ve got news for you, pal.
Fremantle has broken ahead and truly won the game, with a little (read: enormous) dessert called the ‘Muffle‘.
Here are the answers to the plethora of questions you no doubt have:
- Yes, that is a muffin and a waffle.
- Yes, they have a range of delightful fillings.
- Yes, there is sweet AND savoury ones.
- Yes, there’s stuff in the bubbles. (Bacon if you went savoury, choc chips if you chose sweet!)
- Yes, you will have to fight us for it.
These giant beauties are from a place called ‘Muffle & Co‘, and they’re at the Fremantle Markets, in WA.
The company itself seems to already be in Berlin and Bangkok, so while Perth isn’t a commonly chosen third choice, we can’t say we’re unhappy to have these luscious handheld desserts in our country.
