Netflix have been pouring insane resources into their original content game of late, and it feels like you can’t go a day without hearing about either a) a sick new original comedy/thriller/horror/action series or b) another god-awful Adam Sandler movie that’s gonna be watched by a billion people.
Investing in feature-length stuff seems like it’s their game right now, and here’s the latest: Seth Rogen and the lads from Workaholics are working on an original action-comedy flick named ‘Game Over, Man!’
All four of the Workaholics co-creators – Adam Devine, Blake Anderson, Anders Holm, and Kyle Newacheck – are onboard. At this stage it doesn’t look like Rogen intends only to be a producer, but who knows.
Very little is known about the plot, but The Hollywood Reporter says that it’ll be like ‘Die Hard set in a hotel’, which sounds like a good time, I guess. The title comes from the line Bill Paxton yells in ‘Aliens’, so I’m holding out hope that Bill Paxton will be in this movie. Nobody ruin this for me.
