A 27-year-old Australian man has been found dead in a resort swimming pool at the popular tourist destination of Ubud, Bali. Police do not suspect foul play.
Vasco Rodrigues, who is reportedly from Sydney, was on holiday in Bali with his girlfriend at the time. His girlfriend, 35-year-old Miroslava Kubeckova, told Indonesian police that Rodrigues went for a swim after breakfast in the morning, at which point she returned to the hotel room.
When she returned to the area approximately 90 minutes later, she found Rodrigues dead at the bottom of the swimming pool. He was pronounced dead at a local healthcare clinic.
