The reviews are in and, overwhelmingly, people are absolutely frothing over ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ The Rotten Tomato 98% gem of a movie has left a new generation of fans ready to ride eternal, to the gates of Valhalla, shiny and chrome.
But for anyone who left the cinema a die-hard fan, all jacked up and ready to recommend Max’s world of fire and blood to anyone and everyone: you got nothing on our new mate.
Back in 1982 young Adrian Bennett of Bradford, West Yorkshire witnessed George Miller’s ‘Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior‘ and kicked off a 30 year fascination, that would result in a move to Broken Hill and two sons named after people involved in the series.
Nowadays he very happily runs ‘Australia’s first and only museum dedicated to Mad Max 2,’ which we were lucky enough to visit and hear about it all first-hand. Take a look above and we’re sure you’ll agree, Adrian has well and truly cemented his status as Mad Max’s biggest fan and our Australian of the Day.
