Matt LeBlanc Is The Newest Host Of The Forever Shark-Jumping ‘Top Gear’

Matt LeBlanc, AKA Joey ‘How You Doin’ Tribbiani from 90s sitcom ‘Friends’, has been announced as the newest co-host of the eternally shark-jumping car show, ‘Top Gear‘.

While maaaaaaany former fans of the show have debated hotly and violently called for the end, the automotive shitshow continues on.
LeBlanc doesn’t seem phased, though:
“As a car nut and a massive fan of ‘Top Gear,’ I’m honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter.”
And Chris Evans, the current host that LeBlanc will be joining, is trying to be positive:
“Matt’s a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I’m thrilled he’s joining ‘Top Gear.’ Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we’ll both be debating some epic road trip ideas. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to on screen later this year.”
Ironically, LeBlanc’s last show, ‘Episodes‘ was about Americans rejigging a British show and completely goddamn running it into the ground and changing it completely. LeBlanc is the first non-British host of ‘Top Gear’.
