‘Top Gear’ Host Chris Evans Is Facing Police Over Sex Offence Allegations

Top Gear host Chris Evans will be questioned by UK police over historical sex assault allegations, making him the highest-profile BBC star to face such a probe.

The investigation comes in the wake of a long history of complaints against the star, many of which revolved around him exposing his penis to co-workers on a regular basis. Another former colleague said he would often grab her breasts.
“He’d either just get it out, or he’d walk into a room naked,” one former colleague told The Sun. Sometimes it was erect, sometimes it wasn’t. I know other people experience the same thing at work but this was quite extreme because of the relentlessness of it, almost every day for two years.”

It is unknown whether he will keep his breakfast radio hosting gig on BBC 2 in light of the allegations.
The allegations that Evans would frequently expose himself are actually backed up by claims from the man himself, who confirmed that he enjoyed doing it in an interview with the Sunday Times in 2005.

“If you get your willy out, it’s the funniest thing in the world. Everybody laughs, everyone of our generation. I wouldn’t do it in front of my mum, for example. Girls love it; boys -‘Oh, I can’t believe you did that’. It also takes the night to a new level. I actually haven’t done it for a while. But I will do it again.”

Righto mate. Maybe time to get better material.

Evans is soon to appear in the series finale of Top Gear, which has faced troubled production as he and co-host Matt LeBlanc allegedly fell out during production. Ratings have also slid dramatically for the once very popular show.
The BBC have not commented on the police investigation.
