Following his lifelong trend of doing whatever the fuck he wants, Justin Bieber has gotten dreads.
He debuted his new scalp-dwellers on Instagram with the caption ‘Why’, and either he’s making a subversive artistic statement about cultural appropriation with the ~big reveal~ being that this is a wig, or he’s left the second word – ‘not’ – silent.. ‘Why not?’
But seriously though… why?
His new head-residents are invoking some pretty strong reactions.
I hate how much I care about Justin Bieber having dreadlocks

Yup.
As could literally only be expected, some people love them and want to suck on their dry tips while impregnating themselves with his babies.
Some are calling this out for cultural appropriation, which is not the first time he’s been accused of this – he debuted corn rows back in January, and explained it away by saying that “Hailey (Baldwin) made me get them.”

Also, it appears that Justin Bieber got dreadlocks. Or as I’ll intelligently rephrase, “attempted” to. Black Twitter will have a field day!
