The Drake / Kanye collaboration album is reaching almost mythic status, but we basically have confirmation that a) it exists and b) it’s coming.
A quick recap of the events so far:
When Drake released ‘Views‘ back in April, he teased a potential Ye collab. “We had plans,” he said. “We were supposed to do a mixtape together or an album together. Maybe we’ll get that done.”
Then four months later at his annual summer OVO Fest in Toronto, Drizzy brought Yeezy on stage and ALL BUT CONFIRMED the album was coming. “Toronto I got one question for you,” Ye said to the crowd. “Are y’all ready for this album?”
And now, TODAY.
A billboard has appeared in Calabasas, California with the G.O.O.D. Music (Kanye) and OVO (Drake) logos, first posted to /r/hiphopheads and then tweeted by the official G.O.O.D. Music account.

And we all know that Drake’s a fan of billboards atm.
He was right on the Famous sculpture, so that’s 1/3 so far.
The countdown to the MTA Video Music Awards is down to mere hours, and Kanye has been given four minutes of airtime to do whatever he wants – and nobody knows what that is.
A source close to production told TMZ that he’s got four minutes to “do with as he pleases. He can rap, sing, dance or even just stay silent… and we’re told show producers are totally clueless which door he’ll pick.”
Something is brewing…
