Here’s 3 New ‘Stranger Things’ S2 Characters For You To Be Demagawkin’ Over

When Barb died in that dank-as-hell swimming pool, a little part of you died too, didn’t it?
1) Because Barb was dope, RIP Barb, and 2) because you were scared this was a once-off and the makers would preserve the elegance of that illustrious first season by ending it forever, and maybe you’d never see ‘Stranger Things‘ return ever again.
But we received good news – season 2 is a-happening, and there will be #JusticeForBarb.
But luckily enough for us all, ‘Stranger Things’ have let slip three of the new characters that will be in season 2 The Hollywood Reporter managed to find them by the way of the advertised casting calls for the show.

As per THR:
Max is a tough and confident 13-year-old female whose appearance, behaviour and pursuits are more typical of boys than of girls in the era. She has a complicated history and a difficult relationship with her stepbrother, Billy, that’s made her protective of her past and generally suspicious of those around her. She’s also good on a skateboard, which she uses to get around pretty much everywhere.
Billy is a super muscular, overconfident 17-year-old. He’s so captivating and edgy that there are rumours flying around that he killed someone at a school he attended in the past. Billy steals peoples’ girlfriends, is a drinking-game pro and drives a black Camaro. But his violent and unpredictable nature shows itself to those closest to him, especially to ones who are younger than he is.
Roman, meanwhile, is described as a male or a female of any ethnicity between the ages of 30 and 38. After growing up homeless with a drug-addicted mother, he or she suffered a great loss at an early age and has been seeking revenge ever since. Roman is ultimately an outsider who doesn’t understand how to connect with people.’
Max and Roman are billed as ‘series regulars’, while Billy is a ‘potential series regular’.
On the casting calls, the description/logline of the show’s second season reads,
“When terrifying supernatural forces once again begin to affect Hawkins, they realise Will’s disappearance was only the beginning. And so the adventure continues …”
They’re shooting the second season between October 2016 and April 2017, so we’ve got a bit of a wait ahead of us to find out who else will travel to the Upside Down, whether Eleven will somehow return in a different form, and how Barb will receive the justice she and her beautifully-toned wardrobe deserved.
Bless up people, it’s happening.
