You might have heard the tragic news that has befallen glitzy power couple Mariah Carey and James Packer: that they are no longer.
Then again, there were also rumours flying that they’d called it quits after James did “something really bad” with an assistant on a luxury yacht. Or maybe it was because Mariah had “some sort of rendezvous” with one of the dancers in her Vegas show.
Mariah’s camp have now broken their silence on the so-called split, issuing an unusually raw statement that was read out on Sunrise today.
“Mariah Carey and James Packer had a fight in Greece. They have not seen each other since,” it said.“The fight was not because of cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah. James is one of the most successful businessmen in the world.
“They are trying to work it out but right now they are not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it and plan to release a statement about their future.”
We’re waiting for the PR-polished follow-up statement that they have “nothing but respect for one another” or “are happier than ever”, depending on the outcome of this fight.
