Dave Chappelle To Break Sketch Comedy Drought With Debut ‘SNL’ Hosting Gig

YOU GUYS.

Yes, that is absolutely goddamn right. Dave Chappelle himself will be returning to the sketch comedy arena for his debut Saturday Night Live hosting gig – and he’s doing it for SNL’s first show after the US Presidential Election.

Seriously, right now, ask yourself who could possibly be better to ground us all while simultaneously ripping the shit outta the most traumatic American election cycle in living memory.
It’s not only the timing of it all that has us so stoked, either. It’s the fact his hosting gig will mark his first major public appearance as a sketch performer since The Chappelle Show wrapped up a decade ago.
Oh, the fact A Tribe Called Quest will be on deck doesn’t hurt either, especially when they’re currently cooking up something special with Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Jack White and Elton John.
Until next weekend, just watch this on repeat, yeah?
