In another bizarre incident of life imitating AMC, ‘Vampire Diaries’ actor Shannon Richardson, or Shannon Guess who most ‘notably’ ‘played’ the part of ‘Zombie’ in ‘Walking Dead’ has been arrested for sending multiple ricin-spiked letters sent to Gus Fring lookalike President Barack Obama, because every day is just another episode of an AMC cable program and you and I are little more than unassuming extras in this tragicomic farce.
According to
The Hollywood Reporter, the 35-year-old actress and mother of five was arrested Friday in Mount Pleasant, Texas. An initial court hearing has charged her with mailing threatening communications to the President of the United States, New York City Mayor
Michael Bloomberg and gun control advocate
Mark Glaze in Washington, D.C., last month; an offence entailing a minimum of ten years in federal prison.
NBC News New York were able to obtain copies of the ricin-laden letters, which Richardson initially blamed on her husband and
reportedly read:
“You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns.
Anyone who wants to come to my house will get shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God given right and I will exercise that right till the day I die.”
Cool story: Shannon Guess plays the flute, has paralegal and teaching degrees, two tattoos [a tribal design on her lower back and butterflies on her stomach] and apparently neither taste nor decency.
