Former SNL stars Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader are on the promotional trail for their new film The Skeleton Twins, in which they play a pair of dysfunctional siblings. Highly enthusiastic Denver morning reporter Chris Parente has not yet seen The Skeleton Twins, but that didn’t stop him from interviewing the pair and lying to both of their faces about how much he loved it.
Parente came in hot with a question about what it was like for Wiig to go full frontal nude in the film … only problem is, that did not actually happen in The Skeleton Twins, but in another recent Wiig movie, Welcome To Me. Thankfully, the two stars were cool about it, hanging shit on the reporter, who was also willing to make fun of his deeply unfortunate gaffe.
Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader do know a thing or two about awkward Hollywood interviews, after all.
