ICYMI, dosed off halfway through the telecast because that is something we can’t really blame you for: Sia won big at the ARIA Awards last night. The Grammy-nominated wallflower now based in a great part of the world to swing a golf club at was unable to grace last night’s event with her legendary non-presence and accept in person the swag of gilded murder weapons she had received for Best Pop Release, Best Female Artist and Best Video (with Sydney director Daniel Askill) as well as the coveted Album of the Year gong.
Actually, scrap that “coveted” part.
I made four thank you/acceptance videos for the arias. They chose to show one. I’m saddened to be getting shit for being a ‘no-show’ ??.

On the upside, I won! Who wants one? First four people to document doing a good deed, I’ll send you an aria. GO!!!

The awards were promptly re-gifted to her most altruistic Twitter followers including a guy who helps the homeless, someone who prepared food for the family of a young cancer patient, someone who donated to charity, and a person who used their employee discount to brighten up someone else’s day.
