Inside Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s home – right by her front door – is a wall of dicks. You may recognise the penises actually, they’re the very same ones from Fleabag.
Waller-Bridge appeared in a special at-home edition of The Graham Norton Show over the weekend. And since the writer, actor, legend was just sitting at home, Norton decided to ask her about the beautiful wall.
“You can’t even escape Fleabag in the house you’re in, can you?” Norton asked. “Because from season 1, the wall of penises, that’s in your house.”
“That is in my house, yes,” Waller-Bridge answered. “They’re all here, keeping me company.”
She explained that she wanted to hang the dicks in her new office, but can’t move into it yet because of lockdown and whatnot.
“I’m hoping that it will eventually become a hatstand or something adorable like that,” she added. And then she showed off her glorious wall of dicks. “This is who welcomes people when they come through the door.”

“A couple of months ago – my sister and I lived here and when we put it there first, we were like, it would be temporary,” Waller-Bridge continued. “And then you know when you just put something down at your house? You don’t think about it for ages and then it just becomes invisible to you and then you forget you have 12 massive penises at your front door?” Hate it when that happens.
A few months ago a delivery guy came to the door and Waller-Bridge had completely forgot about the penises. “He had to bring something in and he was knocking against the cocks as he was coming in … and I suddenly saw them again for the first time in ages and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m so sorry’ and he just looked me dead in the eye and went, ‘It’s art, never apologise for art.’”
