Fresh off her stunning Emmy Award wins, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has shook on a $$$ deal with Amazon Studios.

The overall deal is said to be worth a cool USD$20 million a year, per Variety‘s sources. As part of it, Waller-Bridge will create and produce new television content for Amazon Studios. In other words, if you haven’t signed up to Amazon Prime yet – now’s the time.
“I’m insanely excited to be continuing my relationship with Amazon,” Waller-Bridge said. “Working with the team on Fleabag was the creative partnership dreams are made of. It really feels like home. I can’t wait to get going!”
Fleabag took home a handful – literally, see the above – of awards at the Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Writing for a Comedy Series, and Director for a Comedy Series.
Waller-Bridge is also the creator of the award-winning series Killing Eve, and she recently rejigged the new Bond film script, No Time To Die.
ALSO, she recently told The Hollywood Reporter that she has a secret new movie in the works.
After Fleabag wrapped, Waller-Bridge said she went to bed thinking she was “never going to have another idea again”, but then just “woke up with the vision of this film.”
Waller-Bridge didn’t share many details about the secret project, although it will be having a theatrical release. And, she “blatantly will end up in it.”
