Google Maps Has Live NSW Transport Info Now & Where The FUCK Is Your Train?

Starting from today, the fine people of NSW will be able to access real-time bus, train and ferry info inside the Google Maps app.

The mammoth tech company has teamed up with Transport New South Wales to help you plan your routes using multiple modes of transport. Need to get a train and a bus? Fuck yeah, my good dude, Google Maps that shit.
Sure, this isn’t exactly a ~revolutionary~ new thing, but it’s always neat to have everything in one place, you know?
For example, if you wanted to get from Bondi Junction to Circular Quay, just whack the two locations into the app and it’ll serve up the latest info on each mode of transport between the two. As well as bus routes, you can also suss when the next bus arrives and cop an estimation of how long the journey will take.
If it’s delayed or early, the times will be automatically updated like the image below.
To use the Google Transit feature, all you gotta do is type in your location and desired destination, click the “get directions” icon and then click the “transit” icon which looks like a little tram.
Once selected, it’ll show you the fastest mode of transport and other options beneath that. It’ll even show you the walking distance between the station or bus stop to your destination. Hell yeah.
The new feature is available for iOS, Android and your bloody web browser.
