People have been stalking celebrities since the entire notion of a celebrity became a thing. Now with the blessed internet at our fingertips, there are a multitude of ways for you to contact your favourite star so they can swiftly and rightly ignore your nonsense messages.
Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are all valuable assets at your creepy disposal, but one has always remained a little more difficult – Snapchat.
Unlike the formers, Snapchat doesn’t do a lot to publicise its users, making them hard to find, particularly if they don’t use their full names, but there are some sneaky ways around this.
Because Snapchat certify their legitimate big-shot accounts, they can be found pretty simply by searching “official” in three different areas. The first is on the stories page, the one accessible by swiping left on the home screen. This page contains all of your friends’ stories, 90% of which are inaudible junk from the club they were at the night before.
Swipe down on this page to bring up the search bar at the top and in that bad boy, whack in the “official” search. Any official account running a story at the time will show up. Add them to send pictures of the holy shrines you’ve built for them.
Each official account will also be marked with a specific emoji which you can also search. For example, Kim Kardashian has the peach because of course she does.
You can also do this from the ‘add friends’ page. To get to this sacred place, swipe down on the home screen and tap ‘add friends’ to search away. Same rules apply.
Lastly, if you see a ‘live story’ by a celeb that tickles your fancy, you can tap on their username at the top left of the screen to view and add them. Sick beans.
