Nintendo Is Making A Mysterious Pokémon-Related Announcement Tomorrow

Fresh off the heels of a very recent Nintendo Direct, the company announced it’s holding another one tomorrow which will focus entirely on the Pokémon franchise.

The seven-minute presentation will present “new information” about the series, but it’s unclear what fans can expect at this stage. Of course, many are hoping Nintendo will finally reveal its new mainline Pokémon RPG to the world, which wasn’t even mentioned in the previous Direct.

The stream will kick off tomorrow at 6 am PST, which is 1 am on Thursday morning for us living in the future.

Given the big new RPG is meant to be coming at some point during the second half of this year, it would make sense for Nintendo to start feeding us some details, and considering the series’ enormous popularity, its own Direct seems fitting for a reveal. Then again, the company could also decide to wait for E3 in June.

As IGN notes, the three Pokéballs on the image could be a hint at the three new starter Pokémon coming to the eighth generation of the franchise, but again, there’s so little known about the upcoming RPG that it’s almost impossible to guess.

Visually, the new RPG is touted to be the most advanced yet, which definitely doesn’t sound surprising, but cool to note nonetheless.

Whatever it is, we’ll find out very early tomorrow morning.
