Instagram Has Dropped Six New Superzoom Filters For All Your Lurkin’ Needs

Instagram have quietly dropped a whole new set of Superzoom filters to their in-app Stories camera – which means next time you want to do a cheeky lurk on your mate, set to an atmospheric soundtrack, you’ve got OPTIONS, beyond like being in the club/a lovey purple haze.

You know the feature that’s been around the traps since October – it’s like Boomerang except better, allowing you to make your own three-second, zoomed-in videos, which which help you more fully express your adoration for all the cute doggos you pass by.

The new set of six includes: pink hearts with bow-chicka-wow-wow-style music; paparazzi-style camera flashing and clicking; flames set to a metal soundtrack; a grey, autumn leaves falling, moody piano-playing homage to emo; one that treats your subject like the dodgy tradie in A Current Affair investigation, sinister music and all; and a big ol’ rubber stamp Nope cross.

My descriptions aren’t evocative enough for you? No wuz, your pals in the PEDESTRIAN.TV office tested out the new feature.

You’re welcome.

If the update isn’t working for you just yet, you’ll deffo be able to make your own soon enough – according to Mashable, an Insta spokesperson said the new effects will be available for everyone to muck around with in the future.
