It’s Bethesda‘s turn to announce what they have in store for the year and beyond, and there’s plenty here for fans of the publisher. Here’s the best of what was announced.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The mobile game, Blades, is copping a new update, including solo arena battles and a new dragon questline.

It’s also coming to the Nintendo Switch, which will still be completely free, which kicks ass.

Fallout 76

After a rather controversial launch, Fallout 76 is getting a flashy new update which gives fans pretty much exactly what they want: an authentic Fallout experience.

The Wastelanders update will include human NPCs and full dialogue trees, the absence of which was a massive point of contention. The response, at least from the crowd at the event, was pretty damn positive, with one bloke screaming “THANK YOUUU” at the top of his lungs.

Wastelanders is a free update and it’ll be available in our Spring. If you’re yet to delve into the game, you can try Fallout 76 for free starting tomorrow.

See the trailer for the update below.

On top of this, the game is also getting a battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter. It’ll be a 52-player last man standing fight to become the Overseer of the vault, featuring a collapsing wall of fire similar to Battlefield V‘s Firestorm mode.

Check out a teaser for that below.

If you’re keen to give it a whirl, there’ll be a sneak peek running from the 10th to the 17th of June.

Ghostwire Tokyo

A new action adventure game with some very strange paranormal themes. While we didn’t see any actual gameplay footage, the trailer features some of the most realistic graphics I’ve seen yet.

Check out the trailer below.

Commander Keen

Talk about a blast from the past. Commander Keen was one of the first action adventure games id Software released in the early 90s, and now it’s getting a reboot for mobile.

You can see the fun cartoon-like trailer below.

Deathloop

A really interesting first-person shooter from Arkane, the developer of Prey,  featuring two rivals trapped in some kind of time loop. We don’t know much more than that, but the trailer looks dope. Check it out below.

Doom Eternal

Some fresh and gory new footage from the upcoming Doom Eternal was dropped, revealing new gameplay mechanics, some of which are a nod to the classic Doom titles, like certain powerups and bonuses. There were also some new details on multiplayer, which will allow you to take control of demons, among the regular multiplayer stuff you would expect.

The release date was also announced, and it’s not that far off: November 22.

You can see the new trailer for yourself below, and there’s a heap of new gameplay footage in the entire presentation, which you can watch here or at the bottom of this page.

Along with all of that, Bethesda showed off new updates for Elder Scrolls Online and Rage 2, along with a new trailer for Wolfenstein II: Youngblood. There was also the reveal of Orion technology, which will allegedly help with the reliability of game streaming services like Google Stadia and Microsoft‘s Project xCloud.

If you’re keen to see absolutely everything that was announced, you can suss the entire briefing below.
