Thieves Strike Camilla Kaftan Store In Another Ram Raid

Someone out there is harbouring a serious grudge against Australian kaftan queen Camilla Franks or distinctive psychedelic muumuus, because the fashion brand has suffered three smash-and-grab robberies in as many weeks, the third of which occurred last night when thieves smashed a car through the store front of her boutique on Sydney retail hub, Oxford Street.

The first heist took place at the Aussie designer’s Bondi flagship store only days after her new “Gypset” collection launched two weeks ago, and the second theft followed a week later.

Today a spokesperson for Camilla said in a statement, “We are taking proactive and aggressive measures to protect our brand, staff and property and will actively pursue both the offenders and anyone receiving our stolen goods through the courts.”

Police will be examining the scene in Paddington today and encourage anyone with information about the ram raid to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Expensive-looking hobos should be considered persons of interest.
