The Sartorialist has just joined Facebook, giving his many fans one more strand of social media through which to follow the well-heeled subjects of his photography.
There are few blogging magnates with the level of personal branding savvy that The Sartorialist’s Scott Schuman possesses. He was the innovator of the now painfully ubiquitous ‘street style’ blog and (as he revealed in an interview last year) is worth millions in website advertising dollars.
Of course diversification is key to Schuman’s success. Off the back of the website he has been commissioned to shoot big brand fashion campaigns and in 2009 released a coffee table-style compendium of his images that has sold over 100,000 copies.
According to The Sartorialist facebook page, Schuman will release his second book later this year. The profile reads: His second book is set to be released in the fall of 2012. so, come September, keep an eye out on your local book shelf (or Amazon.com).
For the release of his first anthology Schuman brought his book tour to Australia where Pedestrian had a chance to chat with him. Check out the interview below.
