The Facehunter Joins RAFW’s Blogger Delegation

We wonder if Kirstie Clements and Alex Perry are still skeptical about this whole blogging thing? Bloggers represent RAFW’s most influential attendees (aside from a rumoured Kanye West???) and even if Australia’s fashion giants can’t admit that, RAFW organizers have proven as much with how aggressively they’ve courted the blogosphere. Following tours of duty from The Sartorialist and Garance Dore in ’09, RAFW have enlisted the prowess of OG fashion blogger Susie Bubble, Tommy Tom of Jak & Jil (both return for their second consecutive year) as well as first time attendee Imran Amed from The Business of Fashion.

On a related note: if there’s any time to have fun with fashion, Sydney, it’s next week. Street style bloggers will be out in force with Phil Oh of Streetpeeper already confirmed and Yvan Rodic aka The Facehunter today announcing his return to Sydney and to Australian Fashion Week.

In contrast to the contempt with which bloggers were regarded just a few years ago, RAFW have this year created a dedicated bloggers area fully equipped with internet connection and comfy sofas for that crucial post-show wrap up.
