SURELY NOT: Decrepit, “Uninhabitable” Syd House Goes For $2.1M At Auction

If you’re planning on owning a house in Sydney at any point in your life, probably don’t set your hopes on being able to afford anything larger than a shoebox located anywhere closer to the city than a three hour drive.

The houses are frequently laughably expensive and laughably bad, like this stunner that broke auction records after selling for a cool $2.1 million.
The house is located in Camperdown and is, in its current state, uninhabitable, but that sure didn’t stop couple Kim Bragamza and Mark Bhardwaj from forking an amount that easily rounds up to a billion dollars for the dilapidated three bedroom house.
Apparently the place is hiding “original Federation features” and “vintage Italian tiling” but still somehow manages to have the exact same shitty kitchen as the one in my horrible piece of shit apartment for which I am constantly mocked and owned.
On one hand it totally sucks ass that we’ll probably never ever own a house but on the other hand watching people older than richer than us spend huge stacks of cash on shitholes helps ease the pain a little.
