Everyone loves Samuel L. Jackson. He’s talented, kickass, funny, and, having appeared in everything from classics like ‘Pulp Fiction’ to hilarious duds like ‘Deep Blue Sea’, has a wonderfully diverse filmography.
Even when starring in terrible films, Mr Jackson is nothing short of amazing.
Now, we all get to learn a little more about the man as he stars in WIRED’s latest ‘The Web’s Most Searched Questions’ segment, where he follows in the proud footsteps of the Sesame Street gang in answering some of the internet’s greatest, most personal concerns about his life.
Questions and answers range from the funny and pointless (“Where is Samuel L. Jackson right now? In a fucking room in downtown LA because it’s storming outside?”) to the trivial (“Where is Samuel L. Jackson from? Born in Washington DC, but grew up in Chattanooga Tennessee”) to the wonderfully nerdy (“Did Samuel L. Jackson ask for a purple lightsaber?’ You bet your ass I did.”)
Biggest takeaway? We could have had Samuel L. Jackson fighting velociraptors in ‘Jurassic Park’, if not for a goddamn hurricane.
Also he is absolutely, adorably proud of that purple lightsaber.
