The drug cheat confession cat is already out of the bag but that hasn’t stopped the inevitable Team Oprah Hype Machine kicking into overdrive leading into the the world premiere of the Lance Armstrong tell-all interview. It’s been pitched as brutal viewing; no rules, no conditions, anything goes. Like any good cage fight, expect plenty of low blows, some table tossing, and the inevitable Armstrong choke-out as he struggles to hold back the tears.
Fans of soul baring tell-all interviews (and Oprah’s bank manager) can rejoice as the 90-minute interview has been extended and split over two nights because there are just Too. Many. Shocking. Revelations. For. 90. Minutes. Of. TV! Good to see the art of the dramatic pause enhance, dead serious, 80’s movie trailer voice over has not been lost.
The interview will screen on the Oprah Winfrey Network in the US and run worldwide on Oprah.com from 1pm EDST.
