North West, 4 Y.O, Just Gave Her 1st Interview In A Jackie O-Inspired Shoot

You may think that publishing an interview with a literal child might be pointless or at the very least uninteresting – but what if that child was none other than North West? It’s more likely than you think.

It’s certainly an epochal moment in the life of a guaranteed future celebrity. The four-year-old took to the pages of Interview magazine to expound upon the trials and tribulations of being four years old and unbelievably wealthy.

The interview takes the form of a bunch of questions asked by other famous children and/or children of famous parents. Like so:

MILLIE BOBBY BROWN (STAR OF STRANGER THINGS): Who is your favorite Disney princess and why?

WEST: Jasmine, because I love her.

BROWN: What would you like to do for your next birthday?

WEST: I want all the princesses to come over!

BROWN: Who is your best friend?

WEST: Mama.

But the thing everyone’s talking about is the Interview photoshoot – where Kim is old-school glammed up in some kind of Jackie Kennedy cosplay. The headline accompanying the adjacent Janet Mock conversation with Kim is the suitably audacious AMERICA’S FIRST LADY. It’s not the first time she’s been saddled with that moniker, but it’s certainly never been so blatant.

Kim shared a few shots on social media, and they look pretty schmick:

Interview shared a couple of extras on their Instagram:

The Kim interview is perhaps a little more in-depth than the one with North – taking more of a bird’s eye view of her career thus far, taking stock of where she’s been and where she’s headed. She discusses her changed boundaries on things she would and would not share:

You really do learn about boundaries over time. I look back at some of the episodes in the earlier seasons and think, “I can’t believe I shared that”—dates with random people when we were single, things like that. But I also think that going through the motions of something like the aftermath of the robbery, or situations that most people might not understand, there are some people who might really have gone through that. I think about them. I feel like I came out of that a better person. Our approach to the show is to film everything and then scale back later. That said, we all have boundaries: I don’t really talk about things that are going on with my husband. If I do, it’s from my point of view. It’s my story.

Also, interestingly, she delves in a little to the bespoke PR operation she seems to be running with her sisters via group chat:

It’s usually me starting a group chat. I’m really aware of what’s going on. If there’s something being said about one of my sisters, I’ll be the first to jump in a group. We have family chats that happen all day, every day. A lot of us are traveling, so one of us will inevitably wake up at four in the morning to 30 messages. I’ll be the first to jump in and say, “Guys, I’m seeing this. This is not cool. Tell me what’s going on.”
