McQueen’s Post Mortem Results

Alexander McQueen’s death has been ruled a suicide according to the coroner’s inquest which has recently been released.

According to the official post mortem the 40 year old died from asphyxiation and hanging, and a suicide note – whose contents have not been released – was found near his body when it was discovered last Thursday.

McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection is due to show on 9 March at Paris Fashion Week. As yet, no official statement has been released as to whether or not the show will go on and, according to the official Paris Fashion Week website, the show has remained scheduled to go ahead.

In the meantime, the future of the Alexander McQueen label has been left in doubt with no word of who could possibly takeover the reigns and carry on the designer’s incredibly unique artistic vision.
