A Wall Street Journal writer summed up the frivolity of Marigiela’s show in the final look he sent down the runway:

“The last look to saunter down the runway on Monday was a three-tiered white cake-shaped costume, with four legs walking underneath. Once it reached the end, the black curtains were drawn back and dozens of Margiela staff, all dressed in their customary white lab coats, paraded back down the catwalk complete with a marching band playing ‘I Feel Good.’ Large silver disk confetti fell from above.”
