London Tubes Use Iconic ‘Thought For Today’ To Spread Msgs Of Solidarity

The tube stations in London are quietly famous for their “Thought For Today” messages: friendly quotes, sayings and aphorisms handwritten on whiteboards that bring a little bit of light into commuters’ days. 

In the wake of the terror attack on Westminster Bridge outside the House of Parliament, which killed four people (revised from five) and injured 29 others, the employees of the London Underground are using those message boards to spread hope and solidarity through a shaken city.
