Leslie Jones Is Live-Tweeting The Olympics From Her Couch & It’s Incredible

Leslie Jones has had a rough time on Twitter in the past couple of months. After her movie ‘Ghostbusters’ was released last month, the racist abuse she received on Twitter became so horrendous and constant that she decided she was bowing out from the social media site. 

However, after Twitter’s promises of action against trolls who use hate speech to bully and threaten others, Jones decided to give Twitter another chance. 
And we’re so bloody glad she did, because now the Saturday Night Live fave and talented comedian is live-tweeting her commentary of the 2016 Rio Olympics from her living room.

We’ve literally never been so thrilled with sporting event commentary. Mostly because Leslie is suuuuuuuuper passionate, but if we’re honest, she doesn’t have a huge amount of background knowledge on the athletes, teams, or even a bunch of the sports. 
She’s got a set-up of three screens in front of her, so we are getting A+ commentary in real time.
