Speedo Beach have enlisted one of the hottest commodities in Australia to showcase their new Summer 2010/2011 collection. That being Lara Bingle though our pristine beaches are a natural asset worth mentioning too. Fortunately the campaign breaks from the Speedo we would usually associate with public pools and Ian Thorpe, adopting colourful prints, modern cuts and an array of beachwear including sundresses, kaftans, board shorts and svelte, fashion forward one pieces.
The look book, shot on Tamarama beach, was styled by Harpers Bazaar fashion editor Christine Centenera and shot by photographer Simon Leikias. Those names, coupled with an increasingly tasteful take on modern Aussie swimwear, positions Speedo as an alternative to K-Mart dwelling sports brands and reputable swimwear alike.
