Summer is officially here. Yay! And in their sun kissed Summer ’11 campaign, Speedo have wisely tapped the “down to earth personality, active, healthy lifestyle, natural beauty and girl-next-door appeal” of former Miss Australia and Miss Universe 3rd runner-up Rachael Finch. Finch replaces the outgoing Lara Bingle as Speedo brand ambassador and is also joined by Australia’s Next Top Model alum Sophie Van Den Akker who is praised for her “high-fashion look“. Forget everything you knew about the brand we used to associate with Olympians and primary school swimming carnivals.
Speedo’s Summer 2011 collection will be available from Speedo stores, David Jones, and independent boutiques nationally from July.
