Julian Assange Designing Line Of High-End Wikileaks Apparel

Muse most likely, Julian Assange, is reportedly in the process of diversifying his LinkedIn profile even further, so that soon it’ll include ‘designer of high-end apparel and accessories’ alongside previously held positions of note like ‘Sweden’s most wanted’, and ‘stellar long-term house guest’.

In a recent interview given to the Times of India, Iceland-based Wikileaks spokesperson Olafur Vignir Sigurvinsson confirmed Assange is looking to make an entrée into the apparel and accessories market by way of India’s apparently burgeoning e-commerce industry: “India is one of the countries where awareness about WikiLeaks is the highest and Julian is excited about the proposition” of tapping directly into the market for Che Guevara-flavoured, revolutionary-themed loungewear of the kind favoured by dreadlocked second year global politics majors at a yet to be determined price point.

Continues Sigurvinsson, “WikiLeaks is looking for an exclusive online partner for distribution of its products like T-shirts and sweatshirts, [sporting] tag-lines like ‘Leaks exposing injustice’ and ‘Enemy of the state’. The organisation has already signed deals with agents from various countries including France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal,” and are looking to expand further into regular rotation in your wardrobe.

Assange’s first foray into rudimentary design signals a larger departure for Wikileaks as it moves from a donations-based model to the partial monetization of their ideology; his name and likeness however have previously featured in the collections of Vivienne Westwood and her son Ben
There’s also his passing resemblance to Tim Gunn. Carry on.
