Ivanka Trump Buys Jewellery Online, Label Donates Her Cash Str8 To Hillary

If you were the fruit of Donald Trump‘s loins, you’d need to indulge in a spot of retail therapy now and then as well.

But his daughter Ivanka has learnt the hard way that even online shopping isn’t a simple transaction when you’re a cog in the ‘Make America Great Again’ bog machine, after being fkn owned by a jewellery company who felt compelled to do some good with her money when she placed an order through its site.
The designers behind Brooklyn indie jewellery label Lady Grey Jewelry, Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader, hilariously donated the money from her purchase of their gold-plated US$84 Helix Ear Cuff to not only the American Immigration Council and the Everytown for Gun Safety Organisation, but Hillary Clinton‘s Presidential campaign.
They let Ivanka know as much in a lil’ note tucked into her package, posted to Instagram for all our enjoyment.

Dear @ivankatrump, #thanksbutnothanks #payitFORWARD ??

While it’s not cool to publicly shame someone, we can definitely get behind the label – whose A-list fans includes Ri-Ri, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez and Grimes – donating Ivanka’s cash to organisations aligned with more sane ideals than her father’s campaign.

Would Ivanka even wear this thing? Not classy. Sad!
Martinelli explained their decision to The Cut:

“While we were flattered to receive an order from Ivanka Trump, our social and political views couldn’t be further from those of the Trump campaign. When we received her order, we instantly felt compelled to take the money and donate it to a few organisations that were more aligned with our ideals.”

KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT.
