It’s that time of year again, where your eyes get a treat and those with an itchy shutter finger and a desire to capture the world are rewarded. The 2013 Pedestrian.TV Photography Awards are back, presented by our new friends Lumix GX7, are here to once again save you from your decidedly Photography-prize-free existence.
Professional and amateur snappers alike are invited to submit their pics and slip them into one of the seven categories: Music, Fashion, Social, Sports, Art, Travel and Mobile. You can submit as many photos as you like to each category, (SUBMIT MY PRETTIES, submit until our site crashes!), just as long as your photos were all taken within the past year.
All photos entered are then in the running to be crowned the 2013 Pedestrian.TV Photo Of The Year, with the winner receiving a Golden Conticket (provided by Contiki) to travel and photograph the world on a Thai Island Hopper trip with a brand new Lumix GX7 camera in hand. The tour will start in Phuket and take you to some of the world’s best most visually ridiculous beaches, including this guy. Lumix GX7 are also generously awarding each category winner with their very own this guy.
Entries for submissions are open from right this very moment until 5pm on the 28th October 2013
(Sydney time), with a panel of professionally impressive humans making
the final call as to the best .jpeg (but will also get by with a little
help from your votes). Winners will be announced at an exclusive awards
gala at Keystone‘s Newtown Hotel in Sydney on 12th December 2013.
