“Grab Them By The Pussy”: Trump’s Women Comments Caught On Tape

In a development that will prove surprising to absolutely nobody whatsoever, US presidential candidate Donald Trump, a man who has a pretty solid reputation for saying gross, inappropriate shit, has been caught on tape saying some gross, inappropriate shit.
Earlier today, The Washington Post published a recording of Trump on the set of the soap opera Days Of Our Lives in 2005, filming an interview about an appearance he was then due to make on the show.
Trump was talking to Access Hollywood host Billy Bush when his comments were caught on a hot microphone – something that proved to be the undoing of 30 Rock‘s Liz Lemon many a time, and also apparently happens in real life.
In an early portion of the tape, he is heard discussing his failed attempt to seduce an unnamed, married woman, saying:

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it … I did try and fuck her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’  I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”
Later, on seeing a woman believed to be actress Arianne Zucker on set, Trump said:

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful – I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything … Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
The recording was made several months after Trump’s marriage to third wife Melania, although it’s unclear when he took the unnamed woman out furniture shopping.
The recording has emerged at a point in the campaign when Trump has been heavily criticising his opponent Hillary Clinton‘s marriage. Needless to say, he has already responded in the most Donald Trump way possible, telling the Post:

“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologise if anyone was offended.”
