Del Kathryn Barton was announced as the winner of the 2008 Archibald Prize with her self portrait entitled “You are what is most beautiful about me, a self portrait with Kell and Arella” for which she also won $50, 000. The painting depicts Barton with her children and is very indicative of her aesthetic and style.
