No model likes to be fashion roadkill.
Lucky, then, that Gigi Hadid had baby sis Bella on hand to save her from becoming just that during Anna Sui’s SS18 show at New York Fashion Week, which is currently in full swing.
As can happen during runway shows because the models’ shoes are often poorly-made samples (or maybe, in the backstage rush, it wasn’t secured properly by Sui assistants), Gigi’s sparkly gold heel came off her foot just before she stepped out for the closing walk.
Luckily, Bella was on hand to help out when it came time for a final lap of the runway minutes later, propping Gigi up as she hobbled her way down sans right shoe.
