Anonymous To Take Down Louis Vuitton

Anonymous, the politically-motivated hacker collective who last took down Mastercard for impeding the work of Wikileaks, have declared war on fashion house Louis Vuitton.

The mission, known as (we’re not joking) Operation Skankbag, emerges in the wake of the luxury giant’s continued lawsuit against Danish artist Nadia Plesner, who designed a T-shirt of an African child carrying a Chihuahua and a handbag, which LV decided looked a bit too much like one of theirs. All the sales from the T-shirt (designed way back in 2008) were to go towards Darfur relief, something that will be a bit more difficult as the company is now expecting Plesner to cough up 190,000 euros and counting for every day the image is featured in this artwork on her website.

Anonymous are incensed, and have released the following obscenity-filled missive, stating that their primary objective is to hurt Louis Vuitton financially. ‘We do not forgive, we do not forget,’ they warn, ‘Expect us.’

Gotta love the Internet.
