Gentlemen and Scholars of navigating hazy late nights second only to RAGE, the fine people at Adult Swim are bringing their signature dose of delectable and technicolor cartoon madness down under (again).
Confirmed by Mumbrella, Adult Swim will be launching their uniquely aussie branch in collaboration with MCM Media. While adultswim.com.au has already launched and is brimming with full episodes of AS shows ripe for the procrastination—from Aqua Teen Hunger Force to Metalocalypse—it looks like the site will soon be adding its initial roll out with a library of 1500 videos and an exclusive collaboration with the Aussie YouTube star Superwog. MCM’s Jonathan Hopkins is convinced this is a recipe for success, according to Mumbrella: “[Superwog’s] videos are short-form and targeting young males, so exactly the
same audience as Adult Swim’s. We partnered with them in a content deal
so they will produce a series of content exclusively for Adult Swim.”
We’ll see how that one works out. Either way, having greater, on demand access to this is a beautiful thing.
