Watch Harlem Globetrotter Set New World Record For Longest Ever Basketball Shot

Here is a semi-ridiculous video of Harlem Globetrotter rookie Thunder Law – yes, that is in fact his real fake-sounding name and probably a great tagline for the new Thor movie – setting a preposterously deep Guinness World Record for what will now officially be known as the longest ever basketball shot, not to be made on the hundredth attempt by some frat bro in a hoodie bouncing on a trampoline and hurling a laser-guided basketball into a hoop suspended from a moving boat, which is clearly more spectacular but not as “valid” according to Guinness officials.

Law’s record shot of 109 feet 9 inches bested the old mark of 104 feet 7 inches, set nearly three years ago. Boomshakalaka!
