Wallabies Snatch One-Point Win From Scotland In Rugby World Cup Nail-Biter

The Wallabies have advanced to the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup after a nail-biting victory over Scotland, in a match that saw our team triumph with the narrowest of margins, whose final score was 35-34.
The win is not without controversy, as Scotland have taken issue with an offside penalty awarded to Australia, that helped turn the tide of the match in our favour with just two minutes remaining on the clock.
Scotland captain Greg Laidlaw was critical of referee Craig Joubert, saying he should have checked his decision with the television match official. “They go to the TMO for everything else, it was such a big decision, why wouldn’t you go to the TMO for that?”
Former Scotland captain Gavin Hastings said that he is “disgusted” with Joubert’s call, and plans to give the South African ref a piece of his mind, but Australian coach Michael Chieka told the press: “It’s a penalty, and that’s the way it works.”
Australia will face Argentina in the World Cup semi-finals this weekend.
