Torah Bright Wins Silver In Halfpipe Event At Sochi Winter Olympics, Dances On Podium

Ebullient 27-year-old Australian snowboarder Torah Bright has won Australia’s first medal at the Sochi Winter Olympics, claiming silver in the halfpipe event at Rosa Khutor Extreme Park.
“I feel great, I feel like I won. I’m so excited, I’m a clutch performer, I pulled it out lucky. I’m definitely going to hit the dance floor tonight!” the ever-beaming Bright told Channel 10. Bright, who danced and shimmied on the podium next to gold medalist Kaitlyn Farrington and bronze medalist Kelly Clark – both American – previously won gold in the same event at Vancouver in 2010.
Shine bright like a diamond, Torah, you crazy fox.
