Roger Federer Blitzes Nemesis Rafael Nadal In Another Massive Open Final

Only a couple of months after their blockbuster Australian Open clash – which was touted to be their final final meeting – Roger Federer has once again beaten career-long rival Rafael Nadal for a major trophy, winning the Miami Open 6-3, 6-4.

The living legend conquered his Spanish nemesis for his 19th win in 2017 – and his 11th win in a row. Which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.

As it stands, the 35-year-old Federer has now notched three titles this season, with a convincing Indian Wells victory adding to Fed’s wild late-career comeback.
In a post-match interview, Federer said “the dream continues.” We can only imagine “the dream” constitutes being the best male player on the circuit until the age of 113, but Federer also acknowledged his 2016 injury scares and thanked his crew for keeping him in tip-top shape.

Nadal, who has been unlucky this year to have his own latter-day sweetspot bested by Federer’s, reckoned “it’s been a very good two weeks for me. Even if I lost for the third time this year to Roger it’s a good start, playing three finals.”

Fedal ’til the end of time, tbh.
