New South Wales found out that key player, hooker Robbie Farah would not be playing mere hours before the game – he was replaced by Michael Ennis.
In a game filled with not-so-legal lifting tackles from the Blues, and strong possession from Queensland, the Maroons looked like the clear champions from the beginning.
