Conor McGregor Confirms He’ll Be At UFC 200, Ending Confusing Shitfight

Well, okay then. Looks like all the hullabaloo and bad blood over UFC weapon Conor McGregor is done: he tweeted that he will be at UFC 200.

There ya go. Basically, this whole affair around who would and would not be at UFC 200 was confusing for everybody – UFC head Dana White said it was because McGregor refused to fly out for a week press tour in the USA, whereas McGregor said he had been doing basically a year and a half of promo work nonstop.
Fair enough: McGregor, as he made very clear in a Facebook post, is paid to fight, not to lollygag around with combat sport journos. “There comes a time when you need to stop handing out flyers and get back to the damn shop,” he said.
Now he’s back in the damn shop! Good to see the UFC are proooooobably acknowledging that McGregor is massive drawcard and has done more for the sport than most. He probably deserves a little leeway.
